J'ai aussi lu des allusions à un comportement relevant de la pathologie mentale. J'ai vu Salov à deux reprises. Lors d'un tournoi SWIFT dans lequel j'officiais comme traducteur (1986 ou 1987 ?) où il se comportait tout à fait normalement, disons comme une personne taciturne et réservée mais sans particularité remarquable et ensuite dans des matches de candidats, en 1989 ou 1990, où il était très différent, mais cela était sans doute dû à la tension inhérente à ce type d'événement.
